Their crystal structures just happen to reflect all the wavelengths of light so that you see white. Many crystals do the same and others have different colors or no color. It all depends on whether the chemical structure absorbs certain wavelengths of light.

because. there are other things that are the same color dont taste the same.

No they aren't. Salt is white and sugar is brown.

You have to remember that both substances have been refined and bleached, in order to cleanse them and make them more attractive to the customer.

because someone made them like that so you would be confused and ask this question they tasete the same
