Sorry for the redundancy of my questions. I'm putting together a travel guide for my company. We are based in Dallas and going to a conference in San Antonio. In case we want to stop for a meal in Waco, does anyone know a good place with easy-off/easy-on access to I-35? I know there are tons of fast-food restaurants (especially around Baylor), but I am looking for something a little nicer than fast food. Thank you in advance.

There is a Cracker Barrel right off of 35 (I think going S) On the N side is a Rudy's Bar-B- Que (yummy!) Both are quick access to the Highway.

The Elite Cafe (Circle Grille) is a Waco original and your best bet for good food off of I35. The Elite offers a nice sit-down dining environment, as it is not some in and out fast food chain. It is located right off of I35 at exit 333A.

Good luck with your travel guide; I know that your co-workers would appreciate knowing about this great place!

I love Buzzard Billy's!! It's just west of I-35 on the University Park exit. Yummy Cajun and Creole food. The atmosphere isn't upper-scale, but it's a fun casual-dining place with great service and excellent food. A nice switch from chain restaurants and fast food.

in case you're finding for extra effective than steak or bbq, then there are the criteria which you will hit upon everywhere in the rustic and then there are some unique to Austin. Olive backyard, Macaroni Grill, Chili's... (in around Rock); Benigan's, Antonio's (mexican) around I-35/183; Boiling Pot (cajun/seafood) on 6th highway (approximately 2 blocks off 35), just to call some. of path the truly stable Austin places are not "in basic terms off the line", you should discover them. wish this enables.

Try the Elite Cafe. That's where I like to go when I'm visiting or passing through.
